All auctions / Contemporary Art / Skedro (1991) - Il vortice rosso
Oil painting on canvas from a private collection. Hand-signed by the contemporary artist Skedro and with a double stamp from the Gallery. Title: The Red Vortex Dimensions: 70x50 cm Year: 2026 Skedro is a contemporary artist whose research focuses on representing identity as a process in continual transformation. Through fragmented faces, layered chromatic structures, and gestural and tactile painting, his works evoke totemic figures suspended between abstraction and presence. The human face becomes a territory to be reconstructed, where sign, color and matter intertwine to reveal the tension between interiority and appearance. His work reflects on the unstable nature of the self, suggesting that identity is never definitive, but always in becoming. www.skedroartist. com NB: The work will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for shipping. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, works of art are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
