Skedro (1991) - Testa nera e collo di gesso

Oil painting on canvas from a collection. Hand-signed by the contemporary artist Skedro and bearing a double gallery stamp. Title: Black Head and Plaster Neck Dimensions: 70 x 50 cm Year: 2025 Skedro is a contemporary artist whose research focuses on representing identity as a continuously transforming process. Through fragmented faces, layered chromatic structures, and gestural, tactile painting, his works evoke totemic figures suspended between abstraction and presence. The human face becomes a territory to be rebuilt, where mark, color and material interweave to reveal the tension between interiority and appearance. His work reflects on the unstable nature of the self, suggesting that identity is never definitive, but always in flux. www.skedroartist.com Note: The artwork will be shipped in a sturdy tube suitable for shipping.
