SMOKY QUARTZ PLATE – TRIOLET, MONT BLANC Splendid smoky quartz plate originating from the prestigious Alpine locality of Triolet, in the Mont Blanc massif. The specimen features a rich association of smoky quartz crystals, characterized by the typical brownish-smoky hues, with several well-defined terminations and gleaming crystal faces. The main crystals develop in three dimensions on the matrix, creating a particularly striking natural composition. The plate is enhanced by the presence of numerous smaller quartz crystals, which accompany the main crystals and give the specimen greater depth and brilliance. An item of notable interest for collectors of Alpine mineralogy, both for the aesthetics of the composition and for the prestigious provenance from Mont Blanc.
