Laveno - 1950s (8 pieces) - Mint Condition Splendid and refined vintage tea service complete for 6 people, model "Isolabella", designed by the famous architect and designer Guido Andlovitz for S.C.I. (Società Ceramica Italiana) of Laveno. The model "Isolabella", originally conceived at the end of the 1930s (1938) and produced in this batch in the mid-1950s, represents a perfect example of exceptional Italian modern design. The design stands out for its flowing lines and for the iconic surface textured with a delicate pattern of concentric waves in relief, a hallmark of Andlovitz's sculptural mastery and stylistic signature. This specific version appears in an elegant hard-paste white/ivory color, adorned in a minimalist and exclusive way by a precious hand-applied filigree of 24-karat gold along the upper rims, edges and handles. A pure and essential interpretation, decidedly rarer and more sought-after than the common variants decorated with floral or landscape decals. Under the base of each individual piece is the original factory mark stamped in green glaze: the double-headed eagle with crown of the Laveno manufactory, accompanied by the related firing codes of the era (including the inscription K-B under the teapot). The service consists of 8 pieces in total / The set includes 8 pieces in total Teapot / Teapot (with lid): Height (max): ~12.2 cm Length (spout to handle): ~23.5 cm Body diameter: ~14.5 cm Milk jug: Height (max) ~6.2 cm 6 Tea Cups: Height ~4.8 cm Diameter (excluding handle): 9.5 cm Diameter (including handle): 11 cm 6 Saucers: Diameter 14.5 cm CONDITIONS PERFECT / EXCELLENT.
