Sofa - An authentic 19th-Century Napoléon III Green Velvet Settee - Velvet

Retaining its original moss-green cotton velvet upholstery, which has been professionally cleaned. The settee edges are structurally defined by a curved beach or pine timber frame underneath, finished with matching fabric velvet welting (piping cords) that trace its rounded profile. The internal padding is historically accurate to the period, utilizing traditional hand-stitched burlap and a resilient organic core primarily consisting of curled horsehair and wool padding.
