A piece for collectors who pay attention to details: the PS1 Dual Analog Controller (SCPH-1180, from 1997) — predecessor of the DualShock, vibration-free, with concave sticks, produced for only a few months before being replaced by the DualShock SCPH-1200. Sony adopted this shape for the analog sticks only in the early life of the console, then quickly replaced it with the still-used convex stick after user complaints about grip. This makes the concave variant one of the shortest-lived versions in the entire history of the PlayStation controller, today sought after by Sony peripheral collectors. Esthetic condition is discreet, with some visible and documented imperfections in the photos, but fully functional in every part: the sticks, rear grips, and front buttons all respond correctly. Completing the lot are 3 games, all CIB (box complete) and tested working: Sword of the Samurai Soul Calibur III (Namco, 2005), PS2 chapter of the famous weapon-based fighting series, appreciated for its large roster and story mode.
