Reverse: SOUTHERN RHODESIA · CROWN 1953 · CECIL RHODES · 1853 · 1902. - Grade: MS62 (NGC). Commemorative Crown coin issued by Southern Rhodesia in 1953 on the centenary of the birth of Cecil Rhodes. The obverse features the young laureate portrait to the right of Queen Elizabeth II, while the reverse offers an elaborate composition centered on the frontal portrait of Cecil Rhodes, accompanied by his dates 1853-1902 and three shields representing territories historically linked to his figure. Large-size specimen with well-defined reliefs, fields of attractive silvery appearance and slight natural tone, retaining good mint luster and small surface marks in line with the MS62 grade awarded by NGC.
