Spain. Carlos III. 8 Reales 1764 Mexico MF XF45

This 1764 8 reales coin was minted during the reign of Charles III of Spain at the Mexico City Mint (marked with the "Mo"). Being one of the most widely circulated silver coins of the Spanish Empire, the 8 reales played a crucial role in world trade, especially in the Americas and Asia. Its high silver content (0.917) and its considerable weight (27.07 g) made it a reliable medium of exchange, often called the "Spanish dollar" or "piece of eight", which later influenced coinage in the United States and other countries. Very good specimen. The product will be shipped from Spain. According to Catawiki regulations, customs duties are the responsibility of the package recipient. Note that for shipments outside the EU, there may be taxes, duties, or customs charges that vary by country, so we cannot provide a general estimate.
