SPAIN. Viceroyalty of New Spain. 1800/799-Mo FM 1/2 Real. Mexico City Mint. Calico-284, Yonaka-M05-100a, KM-72. MS-64 (PCGS). The overdate is clear on this boldly struck, ideally centered example. Both sides are fully lustrous and frosty in texture, the surfaces further enhanced by pretty iridescent toning in olive-apricot, champagne pink and powder blue. The reverse is the more colorful of the two sides, and it also exhibits a delightful target-like distribution to the toning. Provenance: From the Emerald Coast Collection. PCGS# 513071.
