Spanish basin table with a Cadiz leg and ladder. Spanish School. 17th century.

Descriptio Carved walnut wood with metal reinforcements. Dimensions: 76 x 103 x 40 cm. Traditional 17th-century Spanish barreñera table, supported by turned legs known as "de Cádiz" and reinforced with ladder-shaped jambs. The rectangular tabletop rests on a solid structure, designed to withstand intensive use in domestic or craft contexts. The barreñera typology, with its popular roots, combines functionality and simplicity, while maintaining turned details that reflect the taste for structural and durability characteristic of Castilian Baroque carpentry. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist. You may request additional information before placing a bid. This does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights.
