Spectacular Fulgurita

Fulgurites are glassy structures caused by the impact of a lightning bolt on sand. This impressive specimen features a tubular shape with a large internal channel that allows light to pass, as well as a wide opening that lets you appreciate the interior glazing. It has a grayish tone, with sand inclusions on the exterior. The lightning struck in an indeterminate area of the Sahara Desert in Mauritania; I acquired it in the spring of 2023. I ship it with a gift bottle containing Sahara sand and a certificate of authenticity IMCA 5955.

Estimate:£1.69
