Spectacular Iridescent Labradorite Gemstone - 925 Silver...

Elegant pendant with a high-quality Labradorite cabochon — This magnificent pendant features a Labradorite cabochon skillfully shaped into a teardrop, set in an elegant 925 sterling silver mount. Labradorite is an extraordinary gem, famous for its optical phenomenon called labradorescence, which in this specimen manifests as an explosion of colors. The mineral showcases a stunning iridescence that brightens its surface with vivid, shifting hues. You can admire intense flashes of electric blue, fire orange and emerald green, that move and dance with the changing angle of light. These dynamic shades are the result of light refraction within the thin polysynthetic lamellae that compose the structure of feldspar. Labradorite is a mineral in the feldspar group, a plagioclase between anorthite and albite, and its beauty is celebrated worldwide for its ability to capture and reflect an entire spectrum of colors. Each specimen is unique, and this cabochon is no exception, offering a glossy surface that optimally enhances the iridescent effect, making it a piece with great visual impact. Although the origin is specified as Italy, labradorite is typically mined in Canada (Labrador), Norway, Finland and Madagascar. Its geological formation is linked to igneous rocks such as gabbro and anorthosites. This specimen, for its quality and its handmade setting, lends itself magnificently as a distinctive piece of jewelry or as a valuable addition to any mineral and gemstone collection. The pendant represents an exceptional opportunity to acquire a jewel that combines elegant design with the wonder of nature. Its remarkable iridescence and flawless finish make it an object of desire for collectors and jewelry lovers, capable of infusing a touch of color and mystery to whoever wears it.
