• Description of the sample: An exceptional and brilliant collectible specimen composed of aggregates of sphalerite crystals (also known as zinc blende) incredibly well defined and rich in complex geometric faces. The crystals display an extraordinary adamantine/submetallic luster that reflects light intensely, showing fascinating and deep internal transparencies in a brown-reddish/honey color with orange reflections when illuminated directly. On the surface there are also small delicate light-colored crystals in contrast. • Locality: Las Manforas Mine, Áliva, Camaleño, Liébana region, Cantabria, Spain. Located in the spectacular scenery of the Picos de Europa, this mine is legendary among mineral collectors worldwide. It is universally recognized for producing the finest gem sphalerite crystals ever found on the planet. Hydrothermal genesis in carbonate rocks has allowed the growth of crystals with unique transparency, purity, and a ruby or honey coloration, making Las Manforas pieces an evergreen classic of European mineralogy. • Crystal therapy note: In crystal therapy, sphalerite is a powerful grounding stone and balance of vital energies. Linked to the lower chakras (root and sacral), it helps stabilize emotions, increase physical vitality, and stimulate willpower in moments of fatigue or transition. It also promotes self-confidence and concentration, integrating the spiritual aspect with the everyday concrete reality. • Basettes not included in the shipment. NO EXTRA-EU SHIPPING
