**Description :** Rare and fascinating specimen of tarantula of the genus *Cyclocosmia*, naturalized and presented in an elegant display case with a textured black frame and white background. **Scientific name :** *Cyclocosmia* sp. (exact species to be determined) **Class :** Arachnida **Order :** Araneae **Family :** Halonoproctidae **Genus :** *Cyclocosmia* This mygalomorph spider is distinguished by a remarkable anatomical feature: its abdomen ends in a circular, strongly hardened disk, adorned with radiating grooves and characteristic patterns, giving it an almost sculpted appearance. In its natural habitat, this structure serves as a true defensive shield, allowing the spider to obstruct its burrow and protect itself from predators. The specimen presents a dark coloration, a glossy black cephalothorax, robust legs with reddish-brown nuances and an abdomen with a particularly singular morphology. Presented with the legs spread, this tarantula allows appreciation of the details of its anatomy as well as its astonishing abdominal disk. The contrast between the specimen's dark coloration, the white background and the black frame offers a sober and elegant presentation, ideal to highlight this natural curiosity. **An original and remarkable display piece**, particularly sought after for its unusual appearance, which will appeal to arachnid enthusiasts, entomologists, natural sciences lovers and cabinets of curiosities.
