SPIROU - Journal Album, No. 82 - Lot 258

SPIROU - Journal Album, No. 82 Dupuis, 1961. Large quarto, hardcover, cloth-bound spine, front cover illustrated in color. A rare vintage collection from *Le Journal Spirou*, corresponding to issue 82, bringing together the installments from the golden age of Franquin. The cover, which is particularly evocative of the world of Champignac and Zorglub, depicts Spirou, Fantasio, and the Marsupilami in a tense nighttime scene, highly representative of the narrative spirit of the adventures from this period. This volume is part of the most sought-after series of Dupuis hardcover collections from the early 1960s—the heyday of Spirou and Fantasio—featuring major storylines such as *Z as in Zorglub*, *The Return of Zorglub*, and the adventures of Champignac. A fine example of popular bibliophilia, highly sought after both as a single volume and as part of a complete set.
