An attractive complete year of this famous Belgian comics weekly, published by Dupuis during one of the classic periods of the magazine. The issues contain work and serialised stories by several important artists of the Franco-Belgian school and offer a fascinating overview of Spirou at the beginning of the 1950s. Contents of the lot: - 52 individual weekly issues - Nos. 612 to 663 - Complete year 1950 - French language - Published by Dupuis, Belgium - 13th year of publication - Original individual magazines, not a bound volume - Mostly 24 pages per issue The lot also includes the attractive Christmas issue no. 662 of 21 December 1950, with its special illustrated Christmas cover. Overall, the issues have remained remarkably presentable for magazines that are more than 75 years old. A desirable complete and consecutive 1950 run of 52 original Spirou weekly magazines, increasingly difficult to find together as a full year. Please examine the photographs carefully. They form an integral part of the description and give a good impression of the condition of the magazines.
