Star Sapphire and Diamond Ring

ESTIMATED RETAIL PRICE: $3,500 * *This is the estimated value a piece of similar quality, craftsmanship, and characteristics could command at retail. Asterism in sapphire, the six-rayed star produced by titanium oxide needles aligned on three axes within the corundum crystal, requires a direct light source to reveal itself fully: under a single directed beam the star appears to float above the cabochon's surface and moves as the light or viewing angle changes. At 11.00 carats with documented excellent star and rotation, this stone has the mass to make the effect fully legible at arm's length. The florentine finish on the gentleman's mounting and F-G/VS diamond flanks demonstrate strong specification for a piece built around a star stone. Summary of Key Characteristics • Metal: 14K white gold • Gemstone(s): Round cabochon star sapphire approx. 11.00 carats, medium light blue, excellent star and rotation; (2) round brilliant cut diamonds approx. 0.30 carats total, F-G/VS • Ring Size: 9 • Weight: 15.3 g. • Condition: In excellent condition. Gentleman's ring, flush bezel set star sapphire with florentine finish. • PROPERTY OF A VIRGINIA GENTLEMAN Global Shipping With customers in over 100 countries, we provide fully insured global shipping, expertly arranged by our team.
