Large life-size sculpture (1.50 m tall) depicting an ascetic, fakir or begging monk, holding a walking staff and an alms bowl (alms bowl). Height of 150 cm (supplied with its stable wooden base with a few imperfections). Remarkable artisanal work highlighting the expressive and realistic features of the figure. Dressed in a colorful turban (red and green striped patterns) and a green loincloth. A strong and atypical piece of Orientalist or ethnographic art, ideal for remarkable interior decoration, a hall entrance, or a cabinet of curiosities. Overall good condition (see photos for details).
