Statuette

Refined collectible seal made entirely of solid silver, 800 fineness. The upper part of the piece features an impressive sculpture depicting a rampant lion, chased in minute detail with great mastery. ​ The circular base has a finely executed cord edge. On the underside surface there is a clear engraving with the monogram of the letter "L" enclosed in a circle, perfect for use as a desk seal or for sealing wax. ​The piece bears clearly impressed original hallmarks with the 800 silver fineness and the Italian maker's mark. It is presented in overall excellent condition, enhanced by a splendid natural antique patina. The attached photographs show all the details of the object and are an integral part of the description.
