Original multicolored Japanese woodblock print on washi paper, late Edo period, published between 1858 and 1859. The work belongs to the Kannon Reigenki series, created by Utagawa Kunisada for the figures and Utagawa Hiroshige II for the landscape, with texts by Mantei Oga. Conditions: unmounted original sheet, with natural ink bleed-through to the reverse. The front is intact, free of tears and with pigments well preserved, but with wear on the lower right corner that touches the color. The back shows a central area with superficial thinning of the paper due to detachment from an old album/collection. Margins cropped in period as was customary. Dimensions approximately 35 x 23 cm See Museum of Fine Arts, Boston: https://collections.mfa.org/objects/476607
