The images in the collection were all taken by Steely Dan's long-time recording engineer Roger Nichols. Some actually taken through the glass window separating the studio control room and live room, thus the name of the collection. The photos capture candid moments during the process of recording several seminal albums by the group and their elite cast of supporting musicians. This edition, limited to 100 numbered and signed copies, features an 8" x 12" color photo of Steely Dan founding member, singer and keyboardist founding members and guitarists and in a studio live room in 1972. Note that these photos have been developed from the original negatives, which are over 50 years old, and some small marks and imperfections exist on these prints.
