Still Life 3 - Remy Gecelter

Still Life 3 by Remy Gecelter Painting 40.0 x 16.0 :: ‘Still Life 3’ is the culmination of a triptych that traces the journey of an anonymous protagonist towards healing and maturity. The background pattern which first appeared in ‘Still Life 2’ has now become more solid and refined. The limited texture in this piece suggests that the protagonist has surmounted many obstacles. The stack of books reveals the lingering influence of the past but also the progress made. The lemon once bright yellow has turned to a muted mustard while the can of sardines draws the attention implying that the protagonist has learned to adapt and thrive in any situation. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Contemporary Subject: Still Life Width: 40.0 Height: 16.0 Depth: 1.5 Weight: 3 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
