Still life with flowers and fruit, Signed Jardines, Gaditana School

Descriptio Oil on canvas. Still life arranged next to an architectural opening with abundant fruits, flowers, and household vessels distributed on a stone surface. The translucent grapes, peaches, and multicolored flowers grouped in a blue ceramic vase stand out, rendered with remarkable richness of texture and sensitivity to light. The composition combines naturalism and decorative refinement through a balanced arrangement of volumes and chromatic contrasts. The side lighting creates soft highlights and transparencies that enrich the textures of the fruits, leaves, and ceramic. The work reflects the taste for academic still life cultivated in Spanish painting of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Signed “Gardens”. Dimensions: 71 x 45 cm
