This is the rare vintage Model 232 wall or ceiling lamp, designed by Bruno Gatta for the renowned Italian design brand Stilnovo. This iconic mid-century modern design dates from the 1950s/1960s. The minimalist fixture is characterized by a large, globe-shaped aluminum reflector that provides beautiful diffused and indirect light. The shade rests on a slender, black-enamelled curved arm that is connected to a circular wall mounting. The thumbscrews on the wall mounting are new.
