Interesting modern reproduction of an Egyptian Shabti/Ushabti, made of natural stone and decorated with numerous hieroglyphic inscriptions carved on the front. The figure captures the mummy-form characteristic of shabtis from ancient Egypt, traditionally used as elements of the funerary ensemble. The piece stands out for the particular stone finishing and for the manual engraving of the numerous hieroglyphic symbols. The surface shows a patina and workmanship that give the object a strongly tactile and decorative appearance. Specifications: Object: Shabti / Ushabti Culture of reference: Ancient Egypt Type: reproduction Material: natural stone Technique: sculpture and manual engraving Decoration: hieroglyphs Style: Egyptian Era: modern Authenticity: reproduction/replica Condition: good, with normal signs and characteristics of artisanal workmanship Important: the object is explicitly a modern reproduction and is not presented as an ancient archaeological artifact.
