French Louis XIII Style Upholstered Footstool with Floral Needlepoint, 1950s A decorative European footstool in the French Louis XIII tradition, dating to approximately 1950. Featuring a dark-stained wooden frame with elegantly curved os de mouton legs and sculptural stretchers, reflecting the craftsmanship and design heritage of traditional French furniture. The generously padded rectangular seat is upholstered in beige floral needlepoint, featuring delicate pink, red and golden flowers. Coordinating piping and a continuous border of metal upholstery studs provide a refined decorative finish. The wooden frame displays an attractive aged patina with characteristic surface marks. The upholstery retains its floral detailing with gentle signs of age, while the underside features traditional zigzag steel spring support. It will be shipped exactly as shown in the photographs, so please examine all images carefully. Dimensions: Height 43.5 cm × Width 54 cm × Depth 41.5 cm.
