Antique Art Nouveau piano stool with sheet music storage – ca. 1900–1920 – beautiful woodcarving A distinctive antique piano stool from the early 20th century, finished in warm reddish-brown, presumably mahogany, with graceful turned side handles and refined floral decorations. The black-covered seat can be lifted up and reveals a surprisingly roomy interior with original, beautifully formed wooden dividers, specifically designed for storing sheet music and scores. The front features subtly incised framing work and an elegant floral motif, in keeping with the Art Nouveau period.
