Stool - Wood, Brutalist style from the 1950s

An Italian 1950s stool in Brutalist style – original wood, not restored. A stool with a sculptural presence: the contoured seat, the backrest with an opening that serves as a grip, and the sturdy legs create an immediately recognizable silhouette. The bold shapes and the wood grain make it a piece capable of drawing the eye even as a decorative element. Made in Italy in the 1950s, it is completely original and unrestored. It is in good condition; scratches, small abrasions and variations in finish remain visible and tell of its use over time.
