50% Cabernet Franc, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot, 5% Malbec Wine of Origin: Stellenbosch Winemaker: Rianie Strydom In years when Cabernet Franc requires additional support, more varietals are introduced into the blend. The 2023 vintage was one such year, marked by early rains during the harvest season. In this distinctive blend, Cabernet Sauvignon reinforces the elegant tannins of Cabernet Franc while adding structure and depth. Petit Verdot and Malbec contribute freshness and a softer mouthfeel, completing the wine’s balance. Tasting Notes: The 85% representing the Cabernets Franc and Sauvignon give a good core of chalky freshness and structure. The Petit Verdot and Malbec bring the darker berry notes and depth as a final touch. Ready for drinking from 2030 to 2035.
