Japanese four-panel folding screen in the style of Omata Kanpu, featuring a weeping cherry tree in bloom. The scene is rendered in the Nihonga style with ink and color pigments on a gold-toned silk ground, incorporating a soft mountainous silhouette in the background. The tree trunk displays textured brushwork, and the blossoms are highlighted with white pigments. The painting is mounted within a black lacquered wooden frame with a light green patterned textile backing on the reverse. The lower left of the first panel bears two hand-painted black ink characters above a square red seal. Dimensions: 18.5"W x 36.25"H Weight: 8.5"W x Condition Request Condition Report As is. Small tears on the right and left side back panels.
