Sumatran amber pendant

Polished cabochon mounted on a 925 silver bail. The stone has a remarkable visual effect: from golden-brown, it becomes blue under UV light. A characteristic unique to Sumatra ambers, among the most sought after in the world. Amber is a fossil resin whose Indonesian deposits, mined pieces offer exceptional translucency and depth of color. Sumatra amber is particularly prized by collectors for this natural blue fluorescence, absent in Baltic ambers. In lithotherapy, amber is associated with the solar chakra. It is reputed for its purifying and protective properties, promoting mental clarity and energetic balance. Real photographs, what you see is what you receive. 1. Secure shipping with tracking number. 2. Shipping twice a week. For Europe and internationally, delivery times may vary from 8 to 15 days depending on the destination and customs clearance times at borders. 3. All my stones are genuine, without color treatment, resin, or plastic. They have all been selected with care, but as they are natural and handmade products, they may sometimes have small imperfections. 4. The pendant bail has been tested; the size given includes the bail. The chain in the photos is not included in the sale; it is a presentation accessory. 5. Amber has changing reflections depending on light, indoor lighting or sunlight. Photos were taken indoors with suitable lighting and outdoors in natural light when weather allows. I always try to faithfully reproduce the natural colors of the stone. 6. Unlike industrial jewelry, handmade gemstone and silver jewelry, even of high quality, may show slight marks or traces that attest to its authenticity. 7. Please examine the photographs carefully; they are an integral part of the description. Thank you for your interest and happy bidding.
