Summer Dreaming - Zoe Elizabeth Norman

Summer Dreaming by Zoe Elizabeth Norman Painting 19.7 x 19.7 :: Contemporary Impressionism. A pretty young woman stands day dreaming amongst a meadow of wildflowers on a hot summer's day. Her gaze is soft and contemplative as she holds a single red poppy lost in quiet reverie. The field stretches luxuriantly around her—a vibrant tapestry of poppies daisies and purple wild flowers. Each brushstroke is loose and impressionistic creating the scene with a painterly expression of light and colour. The visible energetic marks build rhythm and movement across the canvas capturing that ephemeral quality of a perfect summer moment. Complex colour relationships—cool blues and purples playing against warm greens brilliant reds providing dramatic punctuation—demonstrate the artist's ability to perceive subtle hues and unexpected harmonies. The painting continues around the edges for a contemporary unframed look. Signed on the front and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
