Suntory Chita + Yamazakura Kuyuri - 70cl - 2 bottles

Up for auction: An exquisite collector and tasting duo celebrating the art, balance, and diversity of Japanese whisky craftsmanship. This lot pairs the serene elegance of Suntory's dedicated grain whisky—The Chita Single Grain Distiller's Reserve—with the delicate, smoky sophistication of Yamazakura Kuyuri, crafted by the historic Sasanokawa Shuzo in Fukushima. The Chita is renowned for its unmatched floral sweetness and smooth grain character achieved through complex continuous multi-column distillation and diverse cask aging (wine, Spanish oak, and American white oak). In contrast, Yamazakura Kuyuri offers an elegant smoky peat expression, capturing subtle floral blossoms and orchard fruit balanced with smoldering embers. Both bottles come complete with their original decorative presentation boxes. --- INCLUDED IN THIS LOT: 1. Suntory The Chita - Single Grain Japanese Whisky (Distiller's Reserve) (700 ml | 43% ABV) Crafted at the Chita Distillery on the misty shores of the Chita Peninsula by the House of Suntory. Known as the serene grain whisky of Suntory, delivering aromas of crème brûlée, cardamom, acacia honey, and blooming rose, followed by a light, velvety palate of spiced oak and clean mint. Housed in its original deep indigo blue presentation box. 2. Yamazakura Kuyuri - Peated Blended Whisky (700 ml | 46% ABV) Produced by Sasanokawa Shuzo, a historic sake and spirit maker founded in 1765. "Kuyuri" represents the poetic image of delicate smoke drifting through the air. Delivers notes of crisp green apples, sweet peat embers, vanilla blossom, and gentle coastal smoke. Housed in its original cherry blossom (Sakura) illustrated presentation box. --- LOT SPECIFICATIONS & CONDITION: * Producers: House of Suntory (The Chita Distillery) & Sasanokawa Shuzo * Origin: Japan * Category: Japanese Whisky (Single Grain & Peated Blended Whisky) * Total Volume: 1.4 Litres (2 x 700 ml / 70 cl) * Strength: * Suntory The Chita: 43% ABV * Yamazakura Kuyuri: 46% ABV * Bottle Condition: Pristine collector condition.
