Super - Sculpture - Obamba City - Gabon (No reserve price)

This reliquary would be part of group 17 corresponding to the Obamba of the Mounana-Moanda region. The rounded face is of a concave/convex type. We can compare the reliquary to the Bottet collection with the figure that belonged to Governor Delafosse, of a very close, ready-made style and depicting the pupils with large screws. The authors note that "the eyes are shaped by means of imported rifle screws."

Estimate:£1.68
