Super - Sculpture - Obamba City - Gabon (No reserve price)

This reliquary would belong to group 17 corresponding to the Obamba of the Mounana-Moanda region. The rounded face is of a concave/convex type. We can compare the reliquary from the Bottet collection to the figure that belonged to Governor Delafosse, of a nearly identical, ready-made style and depicting the pupils with large screws. The authors indicate that 'the eyes are formed by means of screws from imported rifles.'

Estimate:£1.69
