Superman

Original Superman XXL Statue – Rubie’s Limited Edition – Studio Oxmox – From Former Showroom For sale is an impressive, larger-than-life Superman statue with an overall height of approximately 259 cm (8 ft 6 in), from the Limited Edition by Rubie’s Costume Co., USA. This officially licensed DC Comics figure was designed by Studio Oxmox. The statue comes directly from the former Rubie’s Germany showroom, where it was displayed for many years as a prestigious decorative and exhibition piece. The German branch of Rubie’s no longer exists. THE FIGURE Superman is depicted in his classic red-and-blue costume with a yellow belt, iconic chest emblem, and long red fabric cape. The dynamic flying pose, with one fist raised overhead and one leg bent, makes this statue an exceptional eye-catcher. The figure stands on a large black base featuring a colorful Superman emblem. An original metal plaque confirms its manufacture by Rubie’s Costume Co., the official DC Comics license, and the design by Studio Oxmox. DIMENSIONS AND CONSTRUCTION Overall height including base to the raised fist: approx. 259 cm (8 ft 6 in) Lower section of the figure (from base to separation point): approx. 150 cm (4 ft 11 in) Upper section of the figure (to the fist): approx. 109 cm (3 ft 7 in) Base diameter at the bottom: approx. 83 cm (2 ft 9 in) All dimensions are approximate.
