His work has roots in classical techniques, but is guided by a contemporary sensibility that gives poetic depth to every subject. His works explore the emotional weight of silence, stillness, and identity through precise and meticulous execution. After formal training he traveled in Europe and the rest of the world, immersing himself in different cultures and artistic traditions to further refine his technique and expand his creative vision. This ongoing journey constantly enriches his visual language and intensifies his expressive force. Inspired by the timeless language of the great masters – including Caravaggio, Rembrandt and Vermeer – his gaze merges tradition and modernity in a continuous dialogue between memory, body and symbol. The subjects of his works range from religious scenes and reinterpreted sacred figures in a contemporary key, to portraits with strong emotional impact, passing through mythological creatures, fallen angels, saints, martyrs and allegorical figures. References to classical antiquity, Christian symbolism, Greek myth and pop culture filtered with irony are not missing. Each composition is built like an image suspended in time, where light and darkness, body and spirit, sacred and profane coexist in a dramatic and deeply human balance. “For me, art is a moment of suspension — a space where time stops and emotions take shape without the need for words.” His works have been exhibited internationally and are part of private collections across Europe and the rest of the world.
