(t) CHINA. 50 Cents, (1941). Chengdu Mint. PCGS MS-63. L&M-120; KM-Y-362. A VERY SCARCE issue that was once considered a pattern, but is much more likely an issue that was struck and never issued, leaving very few survivors. This example, much finer than most seen, is only surpassed by a single example in the PCGS census. Estimate: $1,500 - $2,000. Provenance: From the Robin C S Cheng (鄭鎮新) Collection. Image with the PCGS TrueView logo is obtained from and is subject to a license agreement with Collectors Universe, Inc. and its divisions PCGS and PSA. (t) This lot was manufactured in China (including Hong Kong), Russia or Republic of Belarus and was sourced from outside the United States for this auction after tariffs were enacted by the United States.
