Hailing from the Lance Formation in Wyoming, one of the most iconic and important places in the world for fossil documentation of the last millions of years of the North American Cretaceous, this tooth represents an exceptional collectible for enthusiasts of paleontology, dinosaurs, and natural history. The robust, characteristic morphology of the T. rex premaxillary tooth testifies to the incredible specialization of the skull of this giant tyrannosaurid.
