Porcelain mantel or table clock in multicolored German craftsmanship Rudolf Kämmer, based in Volkstedt, Thuringia. Made in the Rococo style, it features rich hand-painted floral decoration, elegant gold scrollwork, and refined relief details. The top is crowned by a cameo-like full-round sculpture depicting a young seated female figure, dressed in 18th-century attire and accompanied by a bouquet of flowers. The dial shows Roman numerals for the hours, a peripheral railway-style minute track, and a refined central motif with floral garlands and cobalt blue scrolls. The clock is equipped with a mechanical movement with rear winding via a winding key. The winding key is not included. There are the time regulator marked with the symbols “+” and “−” and a selector for manual adjustment. The operation has not been tested and the mechanism may require service. Under the base the blue under-glass mark with the characteristic crowned “K” of Rudolf Kämmer is visible. The female figure atop shows a restoration, visible in the photographs. The clock is sold as is. A decorative object of great charm and stage presence, ideal for embellishing a living room, study, or a room furnished with antique furniture.
