Table knife - Masonic folding

Table knife - Masonic folding

Masonic folding knife, Square and compass, Acacia, Mosaic inlay, Wooden handle engraved Superb folding knife with Masonic decor; the knife opens manually and is sharpened on only one side. Combining a wooden handle with natural hues and a metal blade adorned with traditional symbols of Freemasonry. This item is distinguished by the richness of its engravings and by the combination of several emblematic symbols of Masonic tradition. Wooden handle – Symbolic engravings The handle has two different faces. First face: A beautiful engraving depicting the entwined square and compass, accompanied by an acacia branch. Acacia holds a particularly important place in the symbolism of the Master Mason third degree. It evokes especially the immortality of the soul, faithfulness and spiritual rebirth. The square and compass represent moral uprightness, measure, and the search for balance. Second face: The wood shows lovely natural grain and several golden metal rivets. On the metal part at the junction of the handle and blade lies the Masonic emblem composed of the square, the compass and the G letter, inscribed in a circle. Blade with mosaic pavement décor A feature of this knife is its blade, one face of which is adorned with a checkerboard alternating light and dark squares. This décor represents the Temple’s mosaic pavement, a symbol of duality and the oppositions that make up human existence: light and darkness, joy and sorrow, good and evil. The other face of the blade has a more traditional metallic finish. The blade’s distinctive shape, with a slightly wavy back, adds an original touch to the whole. Specifications Type: collectible folding knife. Handle: natural wood with visible grain. Decoration: Masonic engravings on the handle and on the metal part. Symbols: square, compass, G letter, acacia branch and mosaic pavement. Blade: metal, with checkerboard pattern on one face. Assembly: visible metal rivets on the handle. Condition Nice overall condition, with a few marks and traces visible on the metal parts and the wood. The engravings remain clearly visible and the various décors retain their details. An original collectible item, particularly interesting for knife enthusiasts, Freemasonry fans and symbolic objects. The photographs are an integral part of the description and allow appreciation of the details, the engravings, and the overall condition of this knife.
