It is a table kerosene lamp (also known as a quinqué or oil lamp) antique, presumably dating from the early 20th century (Historist/Neo-Renaissance or Liberty/Secession period). Made in metal or alloy (probably pewter) with rich relief decorations in a classical or floral style. Traditional burner with a wheel to adjust the wick; you can see the removable glass reservoir with the flat cotton wick still immersed in old fuel residues. The shade is white opal glass in a dome shape, typical of antique combustion lighting.
