TAG Heuer - Monaco 'Sixty Nine' - Reversible...

Welcome to my Top Swiss Chronographs Boutique: The finest Monaco ever made by TAG Heuer! Since founded in 1860 by Edouard Heuer, company have been responsible for remarkable watch-making achievements, like 1/10th second time measurement. TAG-Heuer's current watch collection boasts stylish sporting designs that feature advanced movements. Built for heavy-duty performance and exceptional style, this new TAG Heuer Monaco is a versatile tool watch that can go anywhere and do anything. Thanks to its dramatic new dial and superior ergonomics, it's an incentive to push oneself to the limits. The dial is sparse, easy to read. The big, recognizable hands and facetted applied indexes are treated with white Super-LumiNova. One of a few true icons in the watch world, this Monaco is a noughties faithful evolution of the brand. The TAG Heuer Monaco Sixty-Nine has, since its launch, represented the perfect synthesis of the concepts behind the brand’s DNA: avant-garde and legacy. A dream, to have on your wrist a watch equipped with digital and analogical display (an electronic and a mechanical caliber), which the Monaco Sixty–Nine made a reality more than ten years ago, and one that many brands have often tried to chase, without ever synthesizing these two concepts so successfully. TAG Heuer has succeeded, and it ideally united, in the early 2000s, two antithetical philosophies in watchmaking: the European and the Rising Sun ones, the last being strongly oriented towards the production of high-precision digital chronographs, even if TAG Heuer has been, for many years, amongst the leading brands of digital chronometry, especially the high-precision sports one. The basic characteristic that makes the CW9110 reference unique is its dual personality, and it is sometimes difficult to say which is the main quadrant between the two, even if the Monaco was born, and will remain, as analog for life but not necessarily, and this experiment has demonstrated it, it has always been an analog chronograph and a self-winding watch. The three-hand dial is the recognizable, elegant and in this case hand-wound operated classic Monaco, with the small seconds at 6 o’clock, the applied indexes and the hands of a Monaco, but its authority is stronger than that of a “time-only” black dial Monaco, that is a bit “poor” in terms of technique and design. The construction of the case and the buttons, two on each side, necessary to manage all the chrono functions, have increased, giving the impression that the Monaco Sixty–Nine is an elaborate version of a classic Monaco Chronograph. The CW9110 is actually the finest Monaco ever made by TAG Heuer, the Twenty–Four excluded, and its case consists of two parts, coupled together, which contain two different calibres: a mechanical and a quartz one. Movements: - hand-wound Calibre 2 - derived from the ETA/Peseux 7001 - 42 hours power reserve - quartz HR03 caliber, equipped with functions such as: - the stopwatch precise at 1/1000 of a second, like in the Microtimer - the ability to record up to ten different times - a “black panel” function that allows you to turn off the digital screen Case: - 316L stainless steel - polished/brushed - width: 40mm excl. crown, 44,3mm incl. - 17,8mm thick - length: 51mm lug to lug - unique No: C****5 (for buyer only), best confirmation of authenticity - optimal ergonomics and finishing Bezel: - 316L stainless steel - polished/brushed - fixed - multilayer Crown: - 316L stainless steel - raised logo shield - push/pull - four chronograph pushers Case-back: - solid 316L stainless steel with engraving Dial 1: - black Monaco-style dial. - applied hour markers. - central hour and minute hands. - small-seconds display at 6 o’clock. - polished hour batons and luminous hands - TAG Heuer Monaco 69 logo at 12:00 o'clock - minutes and seconds markers round the inner rim Dial 2: - digital time display - chronograph accurate to 1/1,000th of a second - lap-time measurement - memory for up to 10 lap times - second time zone - alarm - calendar - backlight - display-off or “black panel” functionality Bracelet: - black brand newn Juchten leather - RIO's, extremely soft and comfortable on your wrist - length: ca. 20cm incl. wristwatch itself - width: 22mm by lugs, 19mm by clasp Clasp: - 316L stainless steel - polished - deployment - logo - two security buttons Water resistant to 30meter/3ATM/100feet: OK for light splashes, rain, hand-washing; highly risky for showering or swimming Weight: 145 grams Very distinctive design. Extremely high recognition value. TAG Heuer watch box. Distributor's stock: the warranty card isn't stamped (see pics). For watches older than two years, “original warranty” means that the warranty card is included. Excellent condition, never worn: the wristwatch comes from luxury watch-shop showcase; that's why the strap is replaced with brand new one (leather straps often suffer from temperature in shop windows due to powerful spotlights). General professional pre-sale service was made in August 2026: the watch is keeping good time and working perfectly. Due to its age, the watch is no longer covered by the TAG Heuer warranty, but the buyer will get my personal authenticity and quality warranty: a warranty card (as pictured), fully completed, stamped and signed. My impeccable seller reputation speaks for itself: look at my feedbacks and sales ratings. Insured, registered shipping worldwide with Intl. Express service: it’s not cheap, and yet fast and reliable, two days in Europe, three days for the rest of this world. All photos were taken personally by me and correspond to the exact wrist watch you are placing your bid on. NO EXTRA COSTS for EU Buyers. The TAG Heuer Monaco Sixty Nine CW9110-0 is an unusually inventive, discontinued Monaco featuring a reversible case and two separate movements: one hand-wound mechanical and one digital quartz. It is not a conventional automatic Monaco chronograph. Its defining characteristic is that the case flips to reveal an entirely different watch on the opposite side.
