Tal R (1967) - Untitled

Color lithography by Danish artist Tal R (Tal Rosenzweig) from 2006. Color lithography on BFK Rives rag paper with watermark. Monogrammed About the work: The large-format composition presents a mysterious, nearly stage-like scene. Bold black contours meet vivid pink, red, yellow, and green, giving the image an immediate, expressive impact. Typical for Tal R, the depiction deliberately hovers between figuration and abstraction. Familiar objects and figures are so deformed that an open, dreamlike visual world emerges. The apparently spontaneous line work and the unusual color contrasts lend the lithograph a playful yet enigmatic character. Published by the Griffelkunst Association Hamburg e.V. Literature: Harald Rüggeberg (ed.): Griffelkunst - Verzeichnis der Editionen (2001-2010), Volume III, Hamburg 2011, No. E 418. Framing: The work has been professionally and high-quality framed, in a handcrafted black wooden frame with Plexiglas Optical HC. Frame size: approx. 60 x 80 cm About the artist: Tal R (born 1967 as Tal Rosenzweig) is an internationally known Danish artist. His unmistakable visual language combines elements from Expressionism, Fauvism, Symbolism, Art Brut and popular culture. He often draws on everyday motifs, figures, interiors and objects, transforming them into color-intensive, deliberately idiosyncratic compositions. In addition to painting, Tal R’s versatile oeuvre includes drawings, prints, collages and sculpture. Particularly his graphic works clearly show his characteristic fusion of strong color, simplified form and narrative openness.
