Pair of decorative bronze chandeliers, Japanese-style from the Meiji period, featuring a rich bas-relief decoration composed of vegetal motifs, animals and stylized creatures. Both pieces display a beautiful antique brown-gold patina with natural traces of oxidation and wear. The construction and decorative vocabulary are characteristic of Japanese decorative objects produced in the Meiji taste. Height: approximately 20–21 cm each. Antique condition with signs of age and use, patina, minor scratches, oxidation and some traces of verdigris. A crack is visible on the base of one of the pieces. Please review the photographs carefully, which are an integral part of the description. Proposed dating: late 19th – early 20th century, in the Meiji period style (1868–1912).
