Tapestry - 158 cm - 80 cm

Vintage decorative tapestry reproducing a scene from the famous Bayeux Tapestry, a medieval work from the 11th century. The composition corresponds to the banquet scene, in which Bishop Odo blesses the food and drink before William of Normandy and the Norman barons. The scene features figures arranged around the tables, accompanied by inscriptions of medieval inspiration and friezes decorated with birds and fantastic animals. In a horizontal format with rich figurative ornamentation, it preserves a range of natural tones—ochres, greens, reds, and blues—characteristic of reproductions inspired by the original. Large-format decorative piece, suitable for wall display.
