TDK CDing METAL – 5 vintage Type IV metal cassettes – 4×90 + 1×74 min – Tested, excellent recordings! A beautiful lot of five TDK CDing METAL audio cassettes from the 1990s. A particularly fine series from the golden era of the compact cassette, with the characteristic black packaging, metallic gold lettering and the colorful CD-design. The lot consists of four TDK CDing METAL 90 and one TDK CDing METAL 74. All five cassettes were carefully tested and are in technically perfect condition. The recordings are of superb quality: exceptionally clear, detailed and dynamic, with beautiful high-frequency response and barely detectable noise. An impressive sound quality that once again proves what high-quality analogue cassettes are capable of! These are not ordinary audio cassettes, but high-end Type IV metal tapes. This tape type was developed for demanding music recordings and is known for its wide dynamic range, excellent high-end response, low distortion, and the ability to operate at higher recording levels. The CDing METAL series was specially positioned for high-quality music recordings, aiming to capture the sound quality of CDs as accurately as possible onto cassette. Visually, this is also a particularly attractive range. The turquoise and red combination with the black and gold design makes these cassettes true eye-catchers in a vintage audio collection. The original packaging shows slight signs of aging. See the detailed photos for a good sense of the cosmetic condition.
