Teapot (6) - Tin - Tin tea set

the tea service by Meeuws & Zoon. The sleek, organic shapes form a beautiful example of Dutch design from the Art Deco and mid-century modern period. The set is very complete and consists of: • Teapot: The larger pear-shaped pot with the characteristic wrapped rattan/wicker handle (intended to insulate the heat of the metal during pouring). Has a small dent • Rechaud: The accompanying tin bowl-shaped warming plate on which the teapot sits, equipped with openings for a tealight candle. • Sugar jar: The smaller jar with lid. • Creamer: The open jug with a spout and handle. • Spoon cup / waste bowl: The open, round pot without ears, often used for teaspoons or as a rinsing bowl. • Tray: The oval tin presentation tray with openwork (perforated) decorative rims and handles
