Technics - M02 / 2-Head Direct-Drive Slimline Micro Audio-cassette deck

The Technics RS-M02 is a legendary and compact micro-cassette deck produced by Technics between 1979 and 1982. Despite the modest "midi" size (only 30 centimeters wide), this model is known for its high-end build quality and excellent audio performance. Key features Direct Drive (DD) motor: The deck uses a direct driven motor for the main tone roll (capstan). This means that no fragile drive belts are needed, which ensures a very stable running speed and minimal jengel (wow & flutter). 4 Tape types: The RS-M02 is suitable for all four tape types: Type I (Normal), Type II (CrO2), Type III (FeCr) and Type IV (Metal). Premium build quality: The device weighs no less than 5.5 kg because the housing is largely made of solid aluminum instead of pressed steel. In addition, the tulip exits at the back are gold-plated. SX head: Equipped with a high-quality Sendust Extra (SX) recovery/recording head that guarantees a wide frequency range. Pictures are original and part of description!
