The Technics RS-BX501 is a reliable and versatile single auto-reverse cassette deck produced by Technics between 1994 and 1999. The model is known as one of the last serious hi-fi cassette decks with an auto-reverse feature released by the brand. Key Features & Specifications Mechanism: 2 heads (1x recording/playing, 1x erasing) and driven by a 2-motor mechanism (1 motor for the transport coils and 1 DC servo motor for the capstan). ATC (Auto Tape Calibration): This is one of the most rated features on this deck. Noise reduction: Equipped with Dolby B and C noise cancellation and Dolby HX-Pro for better performance in the high frequency range during recording.
